A Mother's Love

She’s the first woman, whom I always love
Given to me by God from up above
She carried me nine months inside her;
Taking care of me ‘till now I get older

She’s always there to make me happy,
Whenever I’m so sad and weary
The kindle light that guides me and will never fade;
She’s most beautiful like that of jade

She's more than a treasure to me,
More than a hero you fly on free
She’s caring, loving and understanding;
That’s why I love her so much she’s amazing

I can still recall when I’m a little kid,
The times I got hurt I cried and bleed
She’s the one who pull me up so quickly;
The best mom in the world I’m so lucky

I can’t imagine life without her,
Cause everything turns cold like in December
For a mother’s love is so tender and warm;
When I’m in her arms I feel can no harm

She’s the only reason I keep on fighting,
To continue dreaming and believing
Every time I see her smiling face;
The pains in my heart easily efface

I love my mother more than anything,
For without her like Christ, I am nothing
I will do my very best to make her proud;
Cause I don’t want to see her cry out loud.

(Dedicated to my mother, Carmelita G. Pabro)

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
